Ashbourne Retail Park comprises eight large retail
units and a garden centre totaling 7,000 square
metres, with over 1,000 surface car parking
spaces.

The scheme was constructed on a site which
was very restricted due to the live operation of
Merlin Car Auctions, where two motor auctions
were held weekly. The large traf昀椀c movement
and accommodation of plant and vehicles were
facilitated, while keeping on target with the
construction programme.
The project was completed over four months ahead
of schedule. The anchor tenant was allowed early
access to their unit to commence 昀椀t-out works
since the project was ahead of programme by
four months. This ensured that when the practical
completion certi昀椀cate was issued on the project,
the retail park was open for business without
the requirement for a further 昀椀t-out period. This
allowed early rent commencement dates which
was very bene昀椀cial to the Client.
